Xiaomi Redmi Launches Lake Blue Color Variant

We all know that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has been one of the highest selling smartphones in India. While the smartphone has managed to garner a lot of attention as well as make headlines on numerous occasions, the Chinese OEM has yet again come up with a new surprise for the fans as well as consumers.
Redmi Note 4 now available in Blue Variant

Xiaomi surprising launched a new color variant for its Redmi Note 4 smartphone. Other than giving customers a new color choice, the smartphone aims to contribute to the government’s Clean India drive or Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in an innovative manner. The “Lake Blue” edition of the Redmi Note 4 is available for the 4GB RAM plus 64GB storage variant priced at Rs 12,999. The Redmi Note 4 Lake Blue edition will be go on sale on September 4 at 12:00PM via Mi.com and Flipkart. It will also be available for purchase at Mi Home stores and Mi Preferred Partmer stores.

Announcing the launch of the Lake Blue edition, Manu Jain, Vice President of Xiaomi says, “We are a company who believes in giving back to the community. Water bodies have been the source of water for ages for people of Bengaluru but over the past decade, these water bodies have been facing serious threat. To show our concern for the cause we are taking up the maintenance of Kempabudhi kere, to support BBMP in bringing it back to its initial days of glory as a project under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. To commemorate this cause, we are launching Redmi Note 4 Lake blue edition which would further contribute to this cause.”



So, apart from offering customers a new color choice, with the smartphone Xiaomi has said that the proceeds from the sale of each device will go towards supporting the Government's Clean India initiatives under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

LG Q6+ with FullVision display coming soon to India

After the launch of the LG Q6 in India, the company is likely to be all set to release the upgraded variant - the LG Q6+ in the country in early September. According to the information revealed by the Mumbai-based offline retailer Mahesh Telecom's Twitter handle, the LG Q6+ is all set to be made available offline in the first week of September. Jio feature phone pre-booking suspended on high demand

Reliance Industries has suspended the pre-booking of its newly launched 4G VoLTE feature phone, JioPhone, till further notice after demand for the device far exceeded the target of making available 5 million phones a week. “The customers can, however, register their details but we are not taking any pre-booking as of now,” said a person familiar with the matter. A message on Jio’s website – uploaded on Sunday – reads that the customers will be informed when the company resumes pre-booking. RIL and Reliance Jio Infocomm didn’t respond to an email seeking comment. The Mukesh Ambani-led firm had also offered customers the option of booking the device through the offline channels through Jio retailers and multi-brand device retailers, including the Reliance Digital stores network.
