Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 could launch with Snapdragon 836 and More Specs

Xiaomi is all set to launch the second generation Mi Mix on September 11. The Mi Mix 2 has appeared in many leaks so far giving us an idea about its design and specs.

Yet again, two images have surfaced on Weibo revealing the specs sheet of the smartphone. The images are basically screenshots displaying the about phone section of the Mi Mix 2. Starting with heart of the device, it is listed to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 processor under the hood. The yet to be announced Snapdragon 835 SoC has featured in a few rumors earlier.

Besides the fact that it will be a slightly upgraded version of the Snapdragon 835 chipset, not much is known. Well, if the screenshots are to be taken seriously, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 would be the first smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 836 processor.

The screenshots further reveal, the upcoming flagship will adorn a large 6.2-inch display with the resolution of 2960×1440 pixels.

As for optics, the smartphone is listed with a 20MP rear-facing camera, which will probably be the main sensor. We say this as the Mi Mix 2 is likely to come with a dual camera setup on its back. The smartphone is also said to offer 256GB of native storage space.

A huge 4,400mAh battery will apparently supply the energy. Coming to another significant revelation, the Xiaomi phone is shown to feature the latest Android 8.0 Oreo with a touch of MIUI 9 on top.

Speaking of authenticity, the specs line-up of the alleged Mi Mix 2 looks too good to be true. Firstly, as we have mentioned earlier, Qualcomm has not even launched the Snapdragon 836 mobile processor.

In addition, Xiaomi's MIUI 9 is yet to get a version based on Android Oreo. Having said that, we are not tossing out the possibility of some kind of miracle. Whatever the case is, we wouldn't have wait for long to get certain answers. Meanwhile, you can check out the teaser poster for the launch of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2.

Jabra Elite 65t wireless earphones Review 2018

Jabra Elite 65t wireless earphones Review 2018 Nearly a year ago, we reviewed the Jabra Elite Sport, the longtime wireless audio maker's first venture into the true wireless space. You could say that they were ambitious with their approach, considering the earbuds attempted to appeal to both music and fitness enthusiasts. Unfortunately, it didn't help either that the Elite Sport were slapped with a $250 price tag, making them one of the more expensive mainstream options at the time. During CES 2018 early last month, Jabra introduced two new truly wireless headphones – the Jabra Elite 65t and the Elite Active 65t. Naturally, this strategy is a departure from the company's previous efforts, as it now tries to cater to the two opposing demographics with dedicated products. The Elite 65t, in particular, is marketed as "being engineered for the best true wireless calls and music experience." That's yet again a bold claim, so we'll find out how it stacks...

Apple devices are butt dialing 911 from its refurbishing facility 2018

Apple devices are butt dialing 911 from its refurbishing facility 2018 Since October, emergency responders in Elk Grove and Sacramento County, California have received over 1,600 false alarm 911 calls coming from an Apple repair and refurbishing site in the area. It’s not clear if the calls are coming from Apple’s iPhones or Watches but each time a call originates out of the Elk Grove facility, there’s no one on the other end of the line and it’s gumming up the emergency response system in the area, draining resources and possibly slowing down response teams in actual emergencies. “The times when it’s greatly impacting us is when we have other emergencies happening and we may have a dispatcher on another 911 call that may have to put that call on hold to triage the incoming call,” police dispatcher Jamie Hudson told Sacramento CBS Local News, which first reported these incidents. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department says it has also received these false calls, telling...

Foldable Surface Phone from Microsoft look like thanks to this concept 2018

Foldable Surface Phone from Microsoft look like thanks to this concept 2018 Microsoft is bringing something big into their hands , as the patent that was granted last week in the United States has shown. This patent had already emerged at the end of October of this year, where its resemblance reminded us of that mythical Microsoft Courier , which never saw the light. Now we have new clues that in Redmond are working on a device that is known under the code name of ‘Andromeda’ , which could be the rumored and expected Surface Phone. And now, thanks to designer David Breyer, we can have a clearer look at what this device would look like if it were real. Microsoft Andromeda David Breyer decided to get down to work and carefully read the Microsoft patent as well as the schematics and details, this with the aim of making a 3D recreation of the device and so we can understand a little what they are doing in Redmond. The first rumors, the new patent and the examples shown with the Courier sho...
