Huawei offering free mobile accessories with Honor 8 Pro and Honor 6X

Honor has announced a limited period offer on its best selling devices, Honor 8 and Honor 6X. The offer will be available exclusively on Honor Store which is an e-commerce portal for Honor products.

With the purchase of Honor 8 Pro consumers will get mobile accessories worth Rs. 2000. The accessories include headphone, Type C Cable, micro USB to Type C Converter and selfie stick. Consumers who purchase the Honor 6X will get a high-quality selfie stick. The offer is valid from August 30, 30117 to September 1, 2017, exclusively on Honor's e-store.


 Honor 8 Pro was launched in July 2017. It is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 960 octa-core processor coupled with 4/6 GB RAM. It has 5.7-inch LTPS IPS LCD display and 12-megapixel dual rear camera setup. It has an 8-megapixel front camera. The device runs Android Nougat 7.0 and is priced at Rs. 29,999 in India.

 On the other hand Honor 6X is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core Kirin 655 processor and comes in two variants of 3 + 32GB and 4+64GB. Huawei Honor 6X has a dual 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel front snapper. The device comes for Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 13,999 for 3GB and 4GB RAM variants respectively.

Huawei is closing in on Apple in terms of unit sales with its sales numbers increasing day by day. India is a huge market for Huawei and the brand wants to register a successful smartphone sales number in the sub-continent.

LG Q6+ with FullVision display coming soon to India

After the launch of the LG Q6 in India, the company is likely to be all set to release the upgraded variant - the LG Q6+ in the country in early September. According to the information revealed by the Mumbai-based offline retailer Mahesh Telecom's Twitter handle, the LG Q6+ is all set to be made available offline in the first week of September. Jio feature phone pre-booking suspended on high demand

Reliance Industries has suspended the pre-booking of its newly launched 4G VoLTE feature phone, JioPhone, till further notice after demand for the device far exceeded the target of making available 5 million phones a week. “The customers can, however, register their details but we are not taking any pre-booking as of now,” said a person familiar with the matter. A message on Jio’s website – uploaded on Sunday – reads that the customers will be informed when the company resumes pre-booking. RIL and Reliance Jio Infocomm didn’t respond to an email seeking comment. The Mukesh Ambani-led firm had also offered customers the option of booking the device through the offline channels through Jio retailers and multi-brand device retailers, including the Reliance Digital stores network.
